The Jolly Coopers Hampton

Built in 1726, it is swiftly approaching its remarkable 300th Anniversary. At one point Nick held the distinction of being the countries youngest assuming the role at a mere 20 years old, his wife Jane, who is only 10 months his senior, humorously laments that toy boys are not all they are cracked up to be!

Originally comprising of three distinct bars – the public bar, the snug and the intriguingly named “virgins passage” dubbed the take away due to limited space available – this venerable establishment traces it roots to a bygone era when it operated as a Jug and Bottle Pub.
