The Barley Mow London

The Barley Mow is a traditional independently owned pub situated just off Baker Street.

Established in 1791, the pub is the oldest in Marylebone and one of the last remaining ‘Free Houses’ in the centre of the city.

It’s not changed much over the centuries, keeping many of its original features, including two private ‘pawning booths’ located directly at the bar. The pub is listed inside and out, and would probably be recognisable today to any passing Edwardian.
